We need to change America! And here's why!

Truer Words were never sung by anyone. Toby Keith took a song that describe a lot of the problems that we see today in the United States and and recorded it. This song was written for him! And when I sit down and look at the words to this song, I see what is wrong with American and what needs fixing.

Song Information

The song was titled “American Life” when the two songwriters It submitted the demo to Keith. According to Keith, Dave Pahanish and Joe West said that Keith was “the only guy in the world that could get away with cutting it”. He also said that he considered the song “so different” and had it on his iPod for a year before recording it.

It speaks of everything that we see going wrong in this country from Bush to Obama, Bailouts, foreclosure, the war, you name it, how this country has become sue happy.......And through it all its funny how the world keeps 'turnin'.

How God and religion keep getting pushed out of this country, and how people seem to keep coming across the border.
You name it, it shows what's wrong with this country and how we need to wake up before its too late.

And what's worse is most people don't see this happening, they don't see how this is going to effect us all until its too late.

God has everything in control, from the climate problems, to disasters, to the idiot (yes that's what I think he is) that we have in the White House. No its not racial, it's political.

As I listen to the song and read the lyrics to this song, I can't help but see that America needs to start fixing itself, and it needs to start with its own government!

Its time to get back to the basics, to what this country was founded on. God and Freedom.

I'm not afraid to say I believe in God, but as I watch what is happening, I see that Jesus is getting 'smaller' as this video sings about. People want God and Jesus out of this country. People will find a way to attack any way they can, and a person's religious values is one of the first things they go after.

I'm 100% behind the reasoning of the Tea Parties. Since Obama didn't know they were happening or so he said, there are advertisements on TV announcing a coast to coast run of Tea Parties happening, and I truly hope to be able to go to one this time.

Its time to take what Toby Keith sings about, what someone wrote for Toby Keith, and change it.

Before its too late.
