Its not about Security its about total control by the government
But at was expense does this 'safety' come at. The government saying that they can do 'pat downs' and searches that go beyond reasonable search. For years we have been taught and we have taught our kids that you can not be touched in certain places except by a doctor. When we stop and look at what the Constitution of the United States says:
>The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.< http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution
From reports of a man telling the TSA not to touch his junk, to a man getting his urine bag broke, to children being strip searched at random, the stories of people experiencing something that goes beyond reasonable are pouring out. And we are supposed to say that this is acceptable because we were attacked on September 11, 2001? In many cases what we are seeing done is about control, more than about safety.
We were assured that images from the body scanners would not be stored, that they would be deleted. What the United States Government lied to us? These images have made their way online. If there are the 100 that are out there, how many more are there?
The government can see much more than they let you believe they can for this. The naked image body scanners border pornography. Is there any reason for TSA to stick a hand down a mans pants, to feel the front of a child? Where does the line get drawn. We know right now if the government had their way it doesn't and it won't. We are being told its for our safety. And they use the example of how bombs were tried to be gotten on board with cargo, in ink jet cartridges. The Christmas Day bomber, but what people seem to forget is that passenger did not board a plane in the United States! How can we protect what someone does over seas. Other countries are not going to scan their passengers, pat them down. Some of these countries support the demise of the United States. They laugh at what we have become, fearful. Yes they day we let terrorist dictate our lives is the day they have won. That day is here. They have won, and politicians say its to keep us safe. Just today there was an incident involving cargo at Logan Airport that prompted evacuation as a security measure. Again this is being used to say this is why we should do this, but if a dog can sniff out something in the cargo, wouldn't it be more beneficial, and less costly to use these same animals? It would certainly make the concern of inappropriate touching a moot point.
What the government is saying is that we can do this to protect you, we support this new pornography, and we support the molesting and assault of each and every person who refuses a full body scan. And as each testimony comes out from people that have been through this experience, have seen their children go through it, see it exactly as that, not at how the government is promoting it.
It's not about safety, its about control.

Amazon has finally disgusted me
They hide behind saying censorship isn't their responsibility, its the responsibility and judgment of the customer to buy or not buy certain things.
What I'm talking about is the 'self published' Author, Phillip R. Greaves 2nd. That's what he goes by on Amazon, I'm not sure if that is his real name or a pen name, but his latest book has sparked an outcry from last count by CNN 2,000 Amazon users, myself one, that they would boycott the site until the book was taken down. The book's title?
The Pedeophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure.
Great Kindle reading don't you think?
Most of us think not.
While the majority of the outcry, came from parents and people who saw the book for what it was, the censorship ended with the publishing of the book. Amazon AND the author saw fit to delete comments at their will on message boards, as well as reviews. I had comments on the message board that disappeared. And I was very within the limit of Amazon's TOS on this. I didn't read any of the book, but the story has gone viral, people are canceling Amazon accounts left and right. Refusing to buy until the book is taken down. Now the book disappeared once, and then a very short time later was back up and for sale again. You can search the title and find the listing but if you click on it, it will go to a 404 page error not found on Amazon's site message.
First of all I did not read any of the e-book, but I saw several bloggers who read the free section, and while the interview CNN did said that he didn't promote intercourse with kids, but thought kissing and fondling was ok, he wrote the book to help kids who found themselves in that situation.
Right? WRONG.
The author was commenting to remarks on the message board and then deleting them, but people who saw him, saw him promoting a book about pedeophile. The book description and publishing description said that the e-book was a guide to show a humane side to pedeophiles so that if they got caught they would get a lighter sentence.
Further more on blogs, I read that he described how to make condoms for young boys. Tell me that is promoting a book for kids who find themselves in a situation? It's not, it was teaching others how to be a 'kinder' sex offender.
Amazon is clear in its Terms of Service about promoting illegal activities. This went beyond free speech and crossed into promoting illegal activity. But Amazon hid behind 'Censorship, and the author's right to free speech and freedom of the press'. I'm pretty sure that some of our founding fathers were rolling over in their graves at this one. Pretty Disgusting.
Ok, so here's even a worse case scenario. Amazon listed the book solely to make money, even knowing it was wrong to list. Which is just as bad. Their TOS says that they can pull a book at any time if they feel it violates their terms of service and with-hold any and all money due the author. So 'if', note the if', this is what Amazon did, this disgusts me just as much as what the author wrote.
Someone brought up the subject of instructional guides of how to commit suicide. Or what's the difference between what the author wrote and porn?
First of all its not illegal to commit suicide. Doctors are required by their oath to try to save you, but its not illegal to try to or to commit suicide. Simple as that.
Porn? Porn is legal, what this book was promoting was not.
There are people who said that we were over reacting, but never have I seen something go so viral so fast. People contacting the FBI about the author, contacting news outlets. Amazon knew they had to do something.
And for some scary reason, I have a feeling this isn't the last we've heard of this e-book. Fortunately there is no hardcover book to be destroyed, all shipping was done via whispernet, if it wasn't something promoting something illegal it could have been delivered regular email.
I truly hope the FBI subpoenas Amazon for records of each and every person that bought the book. When I first saw the e-book it was ranked in the 12,000 numbers. Within 2 hours of that it had jumped about 5,000 spots, by the 11pm news? The book was in the top 100 paid orders of Amazon Kindle e-books.
Of course there were those who said it was a sting to catch predators, but I truly don't believe that. This was a huge oversight by Amazon, and now they have no choice but to protect their interests. ESPECIALLY with the Christmas season just around the corner.
Me? I'll be waiting to see if the book makes a return.

Tax provision in the health care bill???!!! This has nothing to do with health care, and
will do nothing to stimulate the American economy. If anything this will be what sends more jobs to other countries, stimulating THEIR economy, and leaving the U.S in desperate ruins worse than Greece! Mark my words.
I read this earlier on a social networking sight, not Facebook, and confirmed it through 2 sources. CNN being one of them
http://www.naturalnews.com/028854_1099_small_business.html
http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/05/smallbusiness/1099_health_care_tax_change/index.htm
Here it is
>Section 9006 of the health care bill -- just a few lines buried in the
2,409-page document -- mandates that beginning in 2012 all companies
will have to issue 1099 tax forms not just to contract workers but to
any individual or corporation from which they buy more than $600 in
goods or services in a tax year.<
My first question is what the hell does this have to do with health care?
My 2nd question is why the hell is this in the health care bill?
My 3rd question is Does the IDIOTIC government see that this will not do anything but harm the U.S.
Over the weekend I asked if Obama was doing enough to stimulate the economy and make jobs?
Well seeing this, my answer is now a more definite NO!....
The government can't create jobs, but what they need to do is give tax breaks to people who own small businesses, or incentives through grants (government or private), make it easier to get loans for businesses, and give them incentives to keep the employment here in the U.S What a provision will do for this is send more jobs overseas, from my perspective.
Thank you Barry Soetoro, (NOT)
Thank you to these 'Representatives' (NOT) for sealing the fate of America to poverty and socialism!
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/politics/votes/house/finalhealthcare/ (this is a link to the representative list and how they voted)
Here is a link to the roll call for the senate vote
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=1&vote=00396
And to the morons in office that voted yea to pass it to the House? I've got more choice words for them......These incompetent morons that are supposed to represent us only represent themselves, their account, and their interests, they have no interest in anything but directing this country to socialism and bankrupting this country.
They don't give a flying fig about our 'secretive president', they don't give a rats behind about the civilian trial that found Obama 'guilty' Real trial or not a citizen can do this, and the information will be turned over to Congress and authorities, who we all know won't act or do anything....(Surprise Surprise)
I will be firing off yet another letter to my Senator, and giving her a royal piece of my mind. I'm going to flat out give her a piece of my mind. ( No I won't threaten her) but I will make it known what I think of her.
So now we have a new law going into effect, and as a 'freelance' photographer, I won't be able to buy anything over 600.00 without having to create a paper trail longer a roll of Charmin triple roll toilet paper, very likely making it impossible for me to do freelance photography.
The thinking in Washington, and I love this, I really do
>Why did these tax code revisions get included in a health-care reform
bill? Welcome to Washington. The idea seems to be that using 1099 forms
to capture unreported income will generate more government revenue and
help offset the cost of the health bill.<
Nope they won't people like me will not be able to operate or will have to shut down. People will find loop holes around the law, there are always loopholes, but will it be worth it?
In short what the government just did, in my honest not so humble opinion is seal the fate of America to be worse than what Greece is going through.
Thank you so much....
Thank you so very very much for putting the small businesses out of work and people who depend on freelance for income....thank you for caring about the economy, thank you for sending this country to socialism.
NOT!
This is just one more reason the health care bill MUST BE, not should be, MUST BE repealed.
This is just one more way to make the person more dependent on the government.
Lord Come Soon!

Why I do not support Kagan for Supreme Court
I have been doing more and more reading and some research on Obama's Supreme Court Nominee.
I've come to the conclusion that she would be a bad pick for the court, .
She has the qualifications to serve on the court, I have no problem with her qualifications.
I DO however have a problem with her thinking that the Government CAN ban books.
Here's why I disagree with this.
This goes against everything the U.S. constitution stands for. Freedom of Speech. One of the things that this country was founded on... But yet here we are saying this is wrong, or you have to print according to what we want you to read. Right now people can dissent, or agree and write just about anything.
Let me use the 'climate change' or example, and this is not to debate that subject but using it as a prime example
Right now you can get books that support climate change, or you can get books that support that the global warming climate change is a hoax, or grossly misrepresented by false data. Either way those books are available. But should censorship by the government go through I think its safe to say based on the current administration what books will be banned, and if we have a change in political party will those books become 'legal' and the opposite censored. Lots of problems here.
I know some schools have banned books from their libraries, but its not the same. And if there is required reading in class where a parent objects to a book, like Harry Potter series, there is always an alternative given.
Pamphlets printed with corporate funds should be censored? So who says what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.
And how long before this gets into our public schools and churches?
And what constitutes as material that can be banned.
She did soften her answer, but I feel she did so only to appease Justice Roberts and Scalia.
I am not thrilled with someone who thinks that they can dictate or try to tell the government what can and can not be published.
My biggest fear is that this is heading to banning Christianity as a religion. I know I'm getting ahead of the game here, but looking at the Bible and prophecies in the Bible, it will eventually become illegal to be a Christian. And a law like this would pave the way to possibly ban the Bible from Print.
Sorry but her stance that the government can ban books, doesn't sit well with me.
Another freedom being taken from us, or the government trying to take another freedom from us.

Is Obama guilty of racial profiling himself?
These are purported to be Obama's words with Obama reading/speaking them.
"That's Just how white folks will do you. It wasn't merely the cruelty involved; I was learning black people could be mean and then some. It was a particular brand of arrogance, an obtuseness in otherswise sane people that brought forth our bitter laughter. It was as if whites didn't know they were being cruel in the first place. Or at least thought you deserving of their scorn." White folks."
This quote was taken from Dreams of my father: A story of race and inheritance A quote by Barack Obama.
I find this disturbing....and before I go on. I found this video via another gather post this morning, and I've been thinking about those 2 words all day 'White folks' How Obama has been categorizing us since his campaign trail days. White Folk.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI77cU3jsFs&feature=related
Michelle's words 'Black America will wake up'.
So the "white folks' of America that supported and voted or Obama don't count? The votes only counted if you were the Black?
Obama says that Rev Wright spoke of God and Jesus Christ whenever he was in that church, it makes me really wonder how many times that man went to church. Because from what I have heard of this man he condemned whites, he seems to have preached that the U.S. Government was responsible for the 9-11 Terrorism attacks.
Barack Obama,
What makes white people so afraid? Their demons. His words. so am I to interprit this in him saying he things white people are demonically possessed?
Rev. Wright in his first meeting with Obama said that in his first meeting that his fellow clergy felt that he and the church was to radical.
Ya think?
What kind of pastor calls from the pulpit and says for God to not bless America, but for God to Damn America? The things that were taught to Barack and his wife and very likely his kids, 'A set of Black Principles' something that the congregation had adopted back in 1979! So what he was preaching wasn't new. It was decades old! Become Soldiers for Black Freedom!
Wright claims that this country is controlled by rich white people. Yet some of Baracks most influential donors were white people!
Back in 2004 Barack started funding his campaign. He called in people like George Soros. His campaign fund raised about 2.5 million, using a millionaire exception rule.
In 2006, he met with some serious bankers and talked about his campaign. People like
Robert Wolf, and hedge fund manager Orin Kramer.
So Obama sat under the teaching of Rev. Wright which scorned at rich white folks but yet that's where SOME of Obama's money came from, rich white folks.
Obama seems to be blind that BP sent him a campaign contribution. His administration is denying it but its very easy to miss things, or to cover things up, and who knows how they donated, or what name they donated under. I don't doublt that BP gave the reported 77,051, plus donations from employees.
Reverend Wright in a sermon titled the Audacity of hope preached about 'where white folks greed runs a world in need, apartheid in on hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere. He claims that's the world.'
The more I sit here and I've watched this video in its entirety, I have to wonder, Is Obama talking about his growing up, or does he believe this is what he still faces today, in today's world.
There are a lot of questions I have now about Obama, and I have to ask right now is he racial profiling against whites? Is his influence with Rev. Wright helping him push God and Christianity out of this country. Is his attitude that the United States is at fault for past history of during WW II, is Rev. Wrights words why he continually apologizes for the 'mistakes' he believes the United States made.
Rev. Wright may not be on the Obama Staff, but how much of what Rev Wright has said in the years he and Michelle sat in his church still is with him?
I watched Obama on the Campaign trail, yet I didn't vote for him, I still wouldn't vote for him. And by no means am I a perfect person, but Obama while he is confident of himself, something doesn't sit right with me about him. His manners, his words, etc. Every time I turned around either he or someone on his campaign was pulling out the race card. If we didnt' support him we were racist. I have since come to wonder; that through all of Rev Wrights sermons and words, if Obama himself has become racist against whites. Especially those that question him, his authority, his words, his background, his history. He denounces us as terrorists, mocks us, scorns us, and laughs at us.
People tell me I've never given him a chance.
You're right, I haven't, because he's not someone I can believe in. He hasn't brought about change that many Americans expect more debt. Obama has yet to take responsibility for anything that has happened in office. Its always, and I mean ALWAYS, someone elses fault. Right down to BP. Its 20 years of previous administration Bush and Clinton's fault. Not his. Its Bush's fault the economy is so bad. Never mind that everything he has done has failed. Its Bush's fault that the bailouts didn't work. You name it, he has no blame....he sees himself as perfect, and the arrogance he carries with him, portrays it. I want to see him voted out, and badly.
Now that mid-terms are approaching, I think BOTH parties are aware with what is at stake. Their jobs. But you know these people don't have to worry about unemployment if they don't get rehired. They get lifetime pensions, and health care at the cost of the taxpayer. Every person that won in the primaries the other day, knows that they will have the fight of their life to win the trust of voters. And throughout it all the ratings of Obama have dropped. Can he win the trust of voters between now and midterms? Can he prop himself for a run in 2012? I don't know I hope not.
But the more I watch the man, I wonder if he is racial profiling against whites himself.
You want me to give Obama a chance? How about a little bit of integrity from him. Something I believe that neither he or his wife have. But then I don't think you can teach him integrity.
The integrity about his past, and unlocking his records, that would be a good start. But then wait, it would probably come out that he's not eligible to be President of the United States!
Leaving me to wonder ..................

Carl Edwards deserved stiffer punishment
Last year at Talladega when Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski got into an accident on the final lap of the race, just before the finish line, the move that Carl Edwards made to cut him off so that he wouldn't pass is what got the 2 tangled up, Keselowski had nowhere to go, that pretty much disabled his car. But yet to Carl Edwards that accident was Keselowski's fault, he of course had nothing to do with it.
So what does he do? Harbors a grudge for a year.
Now we are at Atlanta Motor Speedway this past March 7th. From everything I've read and everything that I've seen doesn't show me that Brad Keselowski could have avoided hitting him, Carl Edwards, taking him out of the race for 156 laps. So what does Carl Edwards do? Harbors a grudge and bides his time to the last 2 laps of the race, and then he taps, intentionally I might add, Brad Keselowski's car. Not rear ending him, not slowing down, intentionally turning into him going 190 miles an hour.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that when you are going those speeds that you can do some serious damage to a car, and potentially harm someone, if not kill someone. That was not a smart move on Carl Edward's part.
But since NASCAR said that 'boys could be boys' and they said that these taps bumps etc would be allowed. But now it's crossed the line. This was nothing more than revenge, and part of it was bad judgment on Carl Edwards part, but the man thinks he's some kind of racing god and can do no wrong.
Well he's done wrong, and NASCAR has felt that a proper punishment was a 3 week, 3 race probation. As one article I read said its not even a slap on the wrist, its more like NASCAR officials wagging a finger in his face. How wrong is that?
Totally wrong.
What it tells me is that NASCAR has no regard for the safety of its drivers, no regard for the safety of the fans in the stands. He should have in my honest not so humble opinion been suspended for one to 3 weeks. Of course Mr. Edwards fans side with him, and his story that its all Brad Keselowski's fault. I'm not buying it.
Brad Keselowski isn't perfect, and while he is new to the sport and is known to be somewhat on the aggressive side of driving, this incident between him and Carl Edwards doesn't appear to be solely his fault. If anything I think Edwards set him up to hit him. To appeal to his fans for support and give the impression that he's the 'good guy'.
Some day, Carl Edwards, your fans will see through your charade. And see you for the poor sport, and poor loser that you really are. Some day the grudge that you hold against a person will get the better of you and you will find out what its like to have their blood on your hands. Fortunately for you that didn't happen on Sunday. It could have. It could have been a fan.
Last year at Talladega, I had respect for Carl Edwards, for crossing the finish line on foot. He finished the race, car or no car. I didn't fault Brad Keselowski either. I knew what Carl Edwards was doing, going for a block. I knew what Keselowski was doing, going for the win.
But now its time for one of these men to step up and be a gentleman. Carl Edwards showed that he wasn't going to be a gentleman about it. Several of his fans want to see him take Keselowski out of the race. On the other hand Brad Keselowski has many fans that wouldn't mind seeing him take Carl Edwards out of the race as well. I hope for Brad's sake that he runs a clean race and stays away from swapping paint with Edwards.
Edwards showed what sportsmanship he has this weekend!
NONE.
And because of that display of sportsmanship---
Carl Edwards has not only lost my respect, but lost the respect of my 14 year old son. That says a lot. I would not tell my son that he can't root for Carl Edwards but I would point out that he's not a person that is worth looking up to and being a good role model for kids and race fans.
NASCAR has now put people at risk, drivers and fans, and it will be interesting to see if they step up the standards and safety during the races. Many people don't go to see crashes. The watch NASCAR for the race, for the love of the sport. But NASCAR seems to think that these disputes will draw attention to the race, and ratings on TV.
Sorry but for me it won't. I'll follow online if I must, but if NASCAR won't make safety of the drivers and the fans their top priority....then its not worth my time watching it.
If NASCAR is going to give a driver a finger wagging, slap on the wrist--its not worth my time watching. We all know that if Carl Edwards had pulled this stunt with any top veteran driver, the punishment would have been a lot stiffer. But because it was essentially a new, and still rookie driver, he can get away with it.
My New saying is Carl Edwards feels he needs to crash the competition because he drives a FORD. And we all KNOW that FORD cars Fail On Race Day!

Time to sanction companies who hire illegal immigrants? Taking back the American Economy?
Someone mentioned this on a post that I wrote about my health care ideas and I think its a wonderful wonderful idea......
I am not against people moving to America, but I would like them to become citizens once they do come here.
I think helping the economy begins here at home, and that included the possibility exploring offshore for oil. Giving as many jobs as we can to the U.S. Citizens....right now jobs are scarce, and I'm furious with the 'maroon' in Congress that voted against extended UI benefits sure as heck wasn't thinking about what the citizens need. Maybe that Senator or Congressman needs to be unemployed with a family to realize how tough it really is.
I think to start improving the economy and putting money back in pockets of Americans starts here at home, and that means hitting them where it hurts the pocket......Walmart since Sam Walton died has gone so far downhill that its disgusting. Walmart has been known to put profit ahead of safety, ahead of employees. There was a Walmst that opened before inspections and having been completed. The fire department went in there and smacked the store with sanctions and fines so hefty that they had to shut down, for every day they were open would have been thousands in fine.....And that's what needs to happen....If Walmart tried to pass that in cost hikes to the consumer people would stop shopping there. I propose that these sactions be in the thousands a day per employee....
And if they are going to employ illegal immigrants when those immigrants come in for health care? Smack the corporation with the bill.
Its time to fight back.
Its time to take the economy of America back. One job at a time.
Just my thoughts....I'm open to your thoughts....
And how do we get politicians to listen to us, and start thinking of Americans instead of the almighty dollar.

It would be wise to remember that these animals are wild animals
It's still a 'wild animal'.
Does anyone ever consider that there are TWO conflicting reports?
Witnesses say that the whale grabbed her and pulled her under.
Sea World says she slipped and fell into the pool when the killer whale grabbed her.
The accounts told by witnesses was verified by a cameraman.
But no matter has anyone considered what this whale did, was natural instinct, and what it would do to food that it was hunting and killing? This is how these whales kill seals for food, grab them and shake them hold them under.
Sorry but I don't think these animals should be held in captivity for shows like this, I think its time to turn them over to an aqarium, or refuge because I am very skeptical of them being able to fend for themselves in the wild.
There are no easy answers here, but this whale Tiki has been involved in three deaths. Now that should say something......This animal is turning to his natural instincts no matter how well trained he is, no matter how experienced the trainer is.
Sea World needs to look at its practices, and not lie to make it look like it was a freak accident. I don't believe this to be a freak accident, I believe its a pattern of wild animal instinct kicking in.
From accounts that I read the trainer was rubbing him down, when he grabbed her, very likely because of her pony tail flapping, and dragged her under drowning her.
I think its time to set this animal free and give him space to be the animal he was meant to be, even if that means putting him in an aquarium, at least the danger would be minimal......
I would be more inclined to say its time to set him free back in the sea, however, having been trained, and used to being cared for by humans I would worry about his ability to take care of himself in the wild. I think he could adapt eventually but it would take a lot fo adjusting....... And I'm not sure he would survive during the adjustment time.
So its time to 'Free Willy (or Tiki and the rest of them) its time to stop making these animals being show pieces and a danger to the people that train them, and are around them.
Just my thoughts

Is the Honeymoon for Obama Over?
First of all this is not a you lost we win thing. This is a wake up call to every politician elected and seeking re-election, that no seat is guaranteed, no seat is 'safe'.
When Obama campaigned for the White House and ultimately the presidency, he made a lot of promises, he raised the level of expectations that the voters had for him, that he could produce change. Well a year into his term, things are looking worse, and now he can't continue to blame Bush, or anyone else for that matter, he has to look at HIS actions. He needs to look at what he has done, and congress has done.
Someone said on a forum that I belong to said that the Democratic party should get tough and aggressive, and right now I don't think that's the answer. The election this past Tuesday for Senator Kennedy's seat shows that getting aggressive will not help. And that vote shows that no matter who you are, or what party you belong to your seat isn't guaranteed. Conservative Liberals may very well swing their vote to a flat out no on health care, in fear of becoming the Next Martha Coakley.
Getting aggressive isn't the answer. Lets look back to Clinton, and I despise Clinton. He went through some unpopularity when he pushed health care reform during his first term, seats were lost to GOP because of it. But, as much as I don't like Bill Clinton as a politician, he worked in small steps to gain trust of Congress, of both parties, and things got accomplished. Getting aggresive and trying to force votes isn't going to help either party. Yes Obama could learn from Bill Clinton's actions, I think a lot of people could. But to get that kind of cooperation, politicians, ALL parties, need to size down the egos from the President on down to the junior senators and especially some of the senior senators. Respect needs to be given when a person is on the floor speaking his or her mind about health care reform. Because, Yes, we can do it better!
The chants of yes we can to that statement by Scott Brown, had to be heard by Congress, by the President, and its a definite statement that the voters want change, that health care reform is not the issue, its how its done. People don't want new taxes that they can't afford to pay for health care. We don't want to be paying for illegal immigrants health care any more than we want to be paying for them to be on welfare, or receive Social Security benefits. People don't want to be told when to die, and loved ones don't want to see people they love and care about not get treatment. Yes we can do it better and I urge Congress and Barack Obama to work together to figure out how to make it better.
The News networks can no longer ignore the protests, the town hall meetings, the tea parties, they can no longer say that because we disagree we are racist, its more than that. Obama can no longer ignore it either, because if he does, he will be, WILL BE, a one termer.
He promised so much that he just can't deliver. And Americans don't like a president that apologizes, and seems to side with the opposition. And if Barack Obama does not see that, he will see it come the next election, because many people are counting down the days to that next election and voting him out of office.
This Special Election is a wake up call to all politicians! Not just the GOP, or Democratic Party but to EVERY politician holding office......
Listen to the people you represent, or you will be voted out!

Look around, America is no longer a 'rich nation'
Problem is right now I disagree.
About the only people becoming rich are the politicians, their friends and those that are in oil, other than that NO, I don't think America is a rich nation.
We were at one time but as the jobs went over seas, American were given false security during the Clinton years, wars have taken their tolls on everyone.....Recession is in no hope of recovering, jobs are scarce people are loosing their homes, unemployment is at an all time high, we've turned to China for hundreds of million in aid, the deficit got quadrupled in a year alone, the auto industry isn't recovering.
No we aren't wealthy, we are a poor nation and at the rate we are going will become poorer.
I watched a segment the other day on TV, I don't know what show it was, or what channel it was, but it was talking about the long term effects of Katrina. The aquarium in New Orleans is all but a ghost town, there is one animal surviving in that building, an Alligator or crocodile, whose body adjusts itself to going without food, and can live off its fat alone for a year, its heartbeat slows to 1 beat per minutes.....this is a town that still suffers from Hurricane Katrina, and will likely never be the same. We should be focusing on rebuilding the lost business like the aquarium.
Our country is sending 100,000,000 to Haiti for aid. We have numerous organizations over there, all begging for our help to get Haiti back on its feet.....but yet here at home we still suffer, from a recession. Families out of work, families homeless.
It doesn't take a natural disaster to lose everything. And while Haiti is the unfortunate nation to suffer a devastating earthquake, I have to wonder what's next.....how many times can America as a nation keep giving.
Yes countries came to our aid when Katrina happened, notably our Neighbors to the north, Canada, and our Neighbors across the ocean, England. I know there might have been more, but these are the 2 that stick out in my mind, and I am forever greatful to those countries and to any that sent us aid. But look how long its been since Katrina, and look at what we are still going through.
It took more than one person to get us into this mess, and I'm sure it will take more than one person to get us out of this mess, I guess what I'm saying is that for America to be successful again, we need to start looking at home, and helping those here at home.
Not just with 'bailout' programs that end up costing us more in the long run, but longer term things.
1) Sell Oil to America first before exporting it
2) Allow for offshore oil exploration along the coasts of America
3) Do what is necessary to bring the jobs back home
4) Penalize the companies that do take their business overseas and outsource the work. And penalize them heavily
5) close the borders, force people to come into this country legally
6) Stop giving handouts to illegal immigrants, and if these people do get handouts, ie free benefits or health care, submit a bill to their country and send their buts back. Let their people support them.
Even starting some of these things would help put America back on the track to becoming wealthy.....but if we continue at the rate we are going, we are going to be worse and worse off.

Environmentalism as a religion?
Someone once said if you want to become rich invent a religion. Get people to follow you and let them give you money.
Is this what Al Gore did? Created A religion?
Did Al Gore in his documentary use a clip from a fictional movie The Day After Tomorrow?
One News sight reported that Al Gore in his 'Documentary' "An Inconvenient Truth', used a computer generated image taken from the FICTIONAL MOVIE, "The Day After Tomorrow". The scene shows the arctic ice shelf breaking up and disintegrating. But what if said is true, it wasn't ice, it wasn't in the Arctic....What gave a lasting impression was computer graphics and a bunch of styrofoam.
Al Gore puts people who don't believe his theory of Global Warming in the same group of people that debunked Columus for think the Earth was round and not flat. But if Al Gore were a 'true scientist', which he's not, he's a politician, then he would be open to debate and discussion.
But he has yet to explain why people want to be removed from his research!!??
Why did Al Gore turn down 200,000 dollars, his speaking fee, and refuse to show up at The International Conference on Climate Change?? Why does he refuse the press to sit in on his lectures? Why does he think his law is right and there is no room for debate?
If there is no room for debate why did someone report that 15,000 Scientists speak out against Global warming

So in short while the original author of this page has passed away and there are many links to videos that have been removed. Information and photos still remain.
Has anything been achieved by 'selling' Carbon credits? I mean in the end you have the same amount of pollution being emitted into the air, so it really does nothing to help except offset someone's conscience. Right?
Temperture readings, where these thermometers and instruments are placed is critical to get accurate readings, but yet they are often placed in areas that give very inaccurate readings. The videos were taken down, however, the information and arguments are still there.
Every page I go through on this sight makes more sense to me that the Global Warming rubbish spewed forth by the likes of Al Gore and other people who don't have a clue about science, are not scientests, but in fact politicians, and very well paid ones at that.
Al Gore is heir to a family fortune built on money earned from Occidental Petrolium, hmmm seems to me that a lot of pollutants would be emitted into the air from this......
Sorry but Al Gore is no worse than the preacher who said God Hates Barack Obama, hes sunk to a new low pushing his religion, and berating anyone and everyone who doesn't believe his hogwash.
When in reality Global Warming may just be a prelude to worse things to come things that were prophesized thousands of years ago in the Bible.
So is Al Gore a 'preacher', because I sure know he ain't no scientist!
